Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it. I know it's supposed to be a happy occasion, but our country is in mourning over victims of an election-related massacre. If you could take a few minutes of your time to light a candle for these poor, innocent souls, and pray that justice be served to them, you would be doing so much already.

Ashley Greene outside the Letterman studio

That suit would look a thousand times better if it wasn't so bloody red.

Scans from a local broadsheet:

Everyone's talking about it, even my hairdresser.
I went to the salon today to have my roots retouched, but my hairdresser (who's like a cuter version of Christian Siriano btw) was adamant on changing my hair color and giving me soft waves so I could "look like Bella and find my own Edward". Hysterical.
But I digress.
I accompanied [info]winniethepooper today in watching the movie, and we were shocked at the long lines in the theater.
It's Tuesday and it was the middle of the day. Shouldn't most people be at school or work? (lol speak for myself)
This was how it literally looked like at the mall today.

Madness, huh?

LOL I just want to share this style.com article. So witty.

Flesh Hunters

All hell broke loose on Houston Street on Thursday night: Barricades held back teary-eyed tweens outside the Sunshine Cinema, burly security men were not afraid to shove, and—last but not least—guests had to endure the trauma of turning their mobile telephones and cameras in before entering the theater. Why the fuss? Because the First Family of Vampire Cinema was in town, of course, here to attend the NYC unveiling of New Moon, the second installment of the Twilight series. "Robert, Taylor, and Kristen, who no longer even need last names," the film's director, Chris Weitz, said as he introduced the cast to his friends. For those who've been sleeping in a coffin for the last year, that would be Pattinson, Lautner, and Stewart.

"This might be the most beautiful screening I've been to," Weitz added. "I don't think I've ever seen a more glamorous audience watch a movie." Yes, the likes of Jessica Szohr, Taylor Momsen, and Jessica Stam all looked lovely this evening, even if all eyes were on the stars. Nearly the entire room sat swiveled in the chairs, focusing attention not on the screen but rather on a row near the back of the auditorium that was designated for the cast. And then, before the lights even dimmed in the theater, the troupe scooped up their darkened tresses and left.

Perhaps paparazzi flashbulbs act like daylight on vampires, because Pattinson and co. were still missing in action at the after-party. "Where are the bloody Cullens?" Agyness Deyn asked Alexa Chung. With Fergie, Ed Westwick, the Kills' Alison Mosshart, and Emma Roberts in attendance, there was plenty of eye candy to snack on. But that presumably wasn't enough to sustain the fans who stood outside The Box, apparently unaware of the advice of Pattinson. Earlier in the night, he joked to a friend, "Everyone knows this movie comes out in about four hours, right?" True, the first public screenings were at midnight Friday morning, but as any screaming, digital camera-wielding, die-hard Twilight fan will tell you, the movie is just the start. Pattinson may play an unusually abstemious bloodsucker in the series, but his admirers were looking for flesh.

Stammie ♥ (I have no idea what she is wearing, but I still love her)

Amber Rose

Glamorous audience indeed, but I wish Leighton or the Olsen twins had attended.

Had a fun fun weekend that involved too many tequila shots and ear-raping friends with my karaoke version of 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'. I hope yours was equally fun but less painful to the ears.

Anyway... Some people requested that I make more fashion posts like the last one. I said I'd be more than glad to oblige, as long as I have time. And since I am currently unemployed and will probably live off of my parent's money til forever (woe is me), it seems like time is the only luxury I can afford right now.
Ergo, another www-inspired post. They are really going to sue me now. lol.

Sure, Kristen Stewart has a stylist who picks out outfits for her. But that doesn't mean she doesn't get a say in what she wears. I'm pretty sure she coordinates with her stylist (I know this because I used to watch The Rachel Zoe Project religiously).
Although Kristen admittedly isn't a big fashion maven, the girl has a great eye for style. Her casual and street style is very much laidback and is all about comfort. But when it's time to show up for the red carpet, Kristen cleans up real well and becomes enthralling to look at.
I tried to put myself in her stylist's shoes and came up with items I think Kristen would love to wear. Obvious title is obvious. :D

1. T by Alexander Wang Classic tank

This tank top is equal amounts of tomboy chic and sexy.

2. Proenza Schouler PS1 bag
Because I am a creeper, I know that Kristen is a bookworm. She can keep all her Henry Miller and John Steinbeck books in this too-cool-for-school bag.

3. Phi stretch leather mini skirt
It's leather and it's short. The end.

4. Pamela Love x Where the Wild Things Are ring
She likes to pile on the rings and this wild, edgy ring would be a perfect addition to her collection.

5. Dolce & Gabbana suede wedges
Kristen's always in killer pumps and platforms, so these badass wedges would be a nice change.

6. Gryphon mini moto jacket
Yeah, she probably has a million leather jackets already. But tell me, does she have one in brown?

7. CK Simplicity women's watch
I like my watches big and mannish, but I noticed Kristen likes hers small and simple.

8. Chanel nail varnish
This vampy red nail polish would go so well with her pale complexion. (LOL at the unintended 'vampire' reference there)

P.S. With all the Kristen-related posts, I know it seems like I've forgotten all about Robert --but I haven't! Still love the dude. Maybe I'll make a w.w.h.w for him soon.

Like I said, I saw New Moon last night.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but I was a tad bit disappointed with the movie. I don't know if it was because my expectations were set too high, or because the material was bad enough to begin with (Jesus Christ, the New Moon book was 300+ pages of torture).
But OMG Kristen... I thought Kristen fucking owned New Moon. Her acting has improved a lot. A LOT. My love for her has increased exponentially.
As for Robert, wellllll....let's just say this isn't his best movie. Mumbled way too often, if you ask me.
CGI was okay, the wolves were pretty cool, and the special effects have also improved dramatically. So you're probably wondering, what went wrong then?
I don't know, I just felt like the movie dragged on too long in the middle. It only picked up its pace during a certain chase scene which was awesome and possibly my favorite scene.
There were also parts of the movie which were so anticlimactic. Like foreplay that doesn't lead up to orgasm, if you'll excuse my R-13 language.
But you know what? None of this probably even matters because I'm still going to watch it a few times. No, I'm not a hypocrite. It's just that I promised a few friends I'd watch it with them, and no matter how much of a bitch I can be sometimes, I keep my promises. :)

I am overwhelmed by the warm response I got from the picspam I made yesterday. My livejournal received more than a thousand hits.
So thanks to everyone who took the time to comment! Really appreciate it. :)
I'll see if I can make more of these in the future.
But right now, I'm off to catch a screening of New Moon with my family. (So frickin excited!)
Ciao!

"Four for you, Manny Pacquiao! You go, Manny Pacquiao! And none for Miguel Cotto, bye."

LOL the internet jokes are killing me.
But seriously though, I actually felt so bad for Cotto that I got emotional at the end of the fight and my relatives were wondering why I was crying.
