You can't blame companies for wanting to cash in on Twilight's popularity. Take the case of No Curfew, a watch retailer that houses brands like Citizen, Juicy Couture, and Tissot. I was walking by one of their stores when I saw posters of New Moon scattered over the place. Apparently, they have this promo 'get 20% off on selected watches and 2 free tickets to New Moon' or something like that. I managed to take one picture of their promo display before the saleslady approached me and told me that taking pictures of their watches was prohibited because they were trying to avoid people coming out with imitations of their watch designs. She then proceeeded to hand me a buttload of catalogues and told me "You can have these catalogues instead ma'am. You will find here all the watches included in our New Moon promo."
....
In my mind, I was like "WTF? Don't these catalogues defeat the purpose of why I was not allowed to take photos in the first place?" But because I am generally polite, I just thanked her for the catalogues and walked away.

Sorry for the long story. Right now, I am still dumbstruck by the whole incident.
