Story of my life.

Today, for the first time, I saw the New Moon trailer in the theater. There were a couple of girls (and gays) in front who were squealing, but I kept my cool. ;)
I will never underestimate the power of hype again. I never thought 500 Days of Summer would get a release here, but I'm glad I was wrong. Now I'm confident that if there's enough buzz on Paranormal Activity and Where the Wild Things Are, we just might see them in our local cinemas soon.

If you haven't seen this mashup yet btw, I strongly urge you to. :)

Anna Kendrick and Rachelle Lefevre at the Toronto premiere of The Men Who Stare at Goats

I'm so excited for this movie. Ewan McGregor and George Clooney are both old enough to be my dad, but I still think they're hot.

I saw The Proposal the other day. It has its funny moments, but overall, it's just like any other rom-com.

In other news, I can't wait for the Teen Choice Awards on Aug 10. Rob & Kristen are attending, in addition to Chace & Leighton. woot woot!
This is my last year as a teen, ergo, the last time I can watch the awards show without having to be embarrassed about it. Sucks getting older.

I just got to seeing Adventureland last night. And boy was I disappointed. I thought it was awfully boring (although the critics disagree with me). I guess part of my disappointment stems from the fact that I had high expectations for this movie, considering it was from the same director behind Superbad (which was fucking awesome btw).  Oh and Kristen Stewart, girl I love you, but you have to control your mannerisms. It's getting so predictable. Enough with the constant blinking and hand fidgeting, mmkay?
If there's one thing in the movie that kept me from pressing the stop button, it's the girl who played Lisa P (Margarita Levieva, on the right). She's like a hotter version of Shakira.

Are you going to see this movie?

Anyway, I'm on my 3rd episode of True Blood. It's very interesting. I can see some similarities with Twilight.

Saw this at [info]lin17 .
Plot: In the year 2019, a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind.

I'm going to watch this for Ethan Hawke, who I had a crush on back in his Training Day and Assault on Precinct 13 days. Granted, he's not as cute anymore, but what the heck, it's still a vampire movie.

I find it ironic that I see this right after watching Gattaca.

KStew dancing is what happened.
(deleted scene from one of her movies)

Not a new clip but I know not many have seen this yet so I thought I'd share.  Besides, who'd pass up seeing de Niro?

Oh, and someone's mannerisms brushing off on me is also what's happening. I've run my hand through my hair around 10 times in the past 5 minutes.

A sneak peek at Kristen's sex scenes with Jesse Eisenberg and Ryan Reynolds in her upcoming film, Adventureland:

taken from the movie's red band (uncensored) trailer:

Definitely going to see this (and not just because of the sexy scenes lol), but because it's from the director of Superbad, which was frickin' awesome in all its hilarious McLovin' ways.
But dammit. Because of Edward Cullen's chaste ways, we won't get to see him and Bella get it on like this until Breaking Dawn.

Speaking of Breaking Dawn... )
