Blogging this while awaiting assistance in our thesis. (Saying this to convince myself that I'm not being unproductive. Hehe)

Photos of KStew at the Adventureland Premiere (from Everglow)

Hottah hottah.
Not too keen on the dress, but she makes it work.

Screen caps of the DVD features have surfaced already.

And baby when it's love if it's not rough, it isn't fun

Hey bitches, we're back. We enjoyed our weekend too much. Haha

Anyway, we haven't much to share right now except for 2 new deleted scenes from the DVD.

One of Carlisle and Esme here, the other of Victoria and James here.

Funny how most of the deleted scenes seem to involve some kissing or intense makeout. They were probably cut to keep the PG-13 rating.

So much news and videos popping up these days it's almost hard to catch up. If you want paparazzi photos of the cast in Vancouver, Laineygossip is well updated.

Here's another leaked behind-the-scenes footage from the DVD.

And because they are so cute:

Another bonus material from the DVD has leaked. These are outtakes of the apple scene.

Cute huh? At 0:05, it sounds like Rob's about to say "fuck".

The deleted scene we have all been waiting for. (Skip to 0:54 because there's this annoying intro from the dude who recorded this)

Bella is one horny chick. Not that we can blame her.

PETA
awarded Twilight the 2008 Libby Award for the Most Animal-Friendly Movie.
I'm sorry, what exactly are the criteria for winning this award? A deer was killed in the movie's first scene. Um, did PETA watch the same movie as we did? They do know that "vegetarian vampire" isn't literal and the Cullens still slaughter animals, right?
Maybe PETAchose Twilight because Bella ate vegetarian meals through out the movie? (garden burger, mushroom ravioli, spinach salad) But then Charlie ate steak all the time, so doesn't that sort of offset it?
And Victoria was clearly wearing fur in the baseball scene.

?????

Artwork for the DVD is finally out.

See the large version here.
I'm getting this for sure. I'd get the blu-ray version if I had a blu-ray player, but seeing as I don't, I'll settle for this.
Now if we can find out the release date soon, I'd be much happier thank you very much.

EDIT: Catherine Hardwicke revealed the DVD details a few weeks back. You can read the whole interview here. Basically, there are 10 deleted/extended scenes (in one of them, Edward & Bella say "I love you". And there's a lot of montages too, one of which focuses on "very sexy vampire-biting".
Chardwicke just loves making montages, doesn't she? There were like 3 frickin montages in the movie.

Just some good news to end the year:

ABS-CBN: No truth to Web rumors of "Twilight" adaptation
As much as we are glad that there is finally some resolution over the whole issue, we are still feeling a bit wary. Why then, did ABS-CBN's own news website put up an article confirming the adaptation a few days ago? ABS-CBN, ano buh talaga?

Twilight was bigger than The Dark Knight?!
In terms of return on investment, that is. While the Batman film barely tripled its $185 million budget with a $530.8 million domestic take, Twilight made more than 4 times its reported $37 million budget -- the best rate of return among the top-grossing films of 2008, which are:
  1. The Dark Knight, $530.8 million
  2. Iron Man, $318.3 million
  3. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, $317 million
  4. Hancock, $227.9 million
  5. WALL-E, $223.8 million
  6. Kung Fu Panda, $215.4 million
  7. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, $174.9 million
  8. Twilight, $167.3 million
  9. Quantum of Solace, $164.3 million
  10. Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!, $154.5 million
Horton Hears a Who is #10? Really?
Wanted and Mamma Mia seemed more likely to be blockbusters.

Twilight OST is back to #1 in ITunes top albums
I think one reason why the soundtrack is selling even more than Kanye West and Britney Spears is that you can't buy its songs individually. So even if you're only after Bella's lullaby, you have to buy the whole album. Pretty wise of them huh?
