I'm playing hooky from work tomorrow, so I had the luxury of time today to change the site layout and profile.

I've been listening to the New Moon soundtrack a lot lately and it's really growing on me.
Grizzly Bear's "Slow Life" is one of my favorite tracks. Something entrancingly hypnotic yet eerily beautiful about it. Here's a live performance:


On the other hand, I cannot be paid to like Lykke Li's "Possibility". I don't know if it's because the song sounds like her lips are trembling or she's gurgling her words or whatever.

So beautiful it makes me sad

I can't wait to hear what Alexandre's done for the musical score.

So.....in case you've been living under a rock, they just released the official track list for the New Moon soundtrack.

Thoughts on the soundtrack, anyone? winniethepooper, I'm looking at you. lol

It's so indie right?
Personally, I'm a bit bummed there's no KOL or Coldplay as was rumored.
But besides that, I'm confident the soundtrack is going to to turn out good.

Just as I was jamming to my favorite Killers song, I read this:

Representatives for The Killers and Grizzly Bear have confirmed that each will be included on the "Twilight Saga: New Moon" soundtrack, according to an article in the New York Times.

I freaked out. But in a good kind of way. :)

I have a good feeling I know which part of the movie they're going to play this.

After I read that this relatively unknown band from London was going to be on the New Moon soundtrack, I checked out some of their songs.
This seems to be their most popular.

Not bad. Not bad at all.
