        He's being sarcastic. Emmett's not scared of anything.

        Jasper: "Duh! Does Edward look like the kind of guy who would go to a strip club?"

6.     Charlie: "Bells, we're up to bat."

        It's unlikely they're playing baseball with the Cullens. They'd suffer major injuries if they were.
           Charlie probably means they're about to walk down the aisle! :)
